What Bio Spear Technology does. Bio-Spear creates a protective barrier on both hard and soft surfaces that lasts up to 90 days depending on abrasion of the surface or the number of washes a garment is subjected to. This barrier destroys microbes & bacteria mechanically instead of chemically so there is no risk of mutation.

When Bio-Spear is applied to a surface or fabric the molecules polymerize to form fields of nanoscopic carbon spears. These spears have to ability to attract microbes onto their spikes which then pierce the cell wall and deliver a mild shock – this combines attack destroys the material inside the cell rendering it inert and unable to replicate.

So unlike traditional cleaning methods that only clean whilst they are wet Bio-Spear works when 24/7 365 days of the year. By having this barrier Bio-Spear protects you and your environment against bacteria, mold, fungus and soft cell viruses. It is not bacterial specific, like antibiotics, so it works on both gram + and gram – bacteria.

In layman’s terms Bio-Spear prevents bacterial growth (as well as mold and fungus and soft cell viruses) on hard surfaces and fabrics giving round the clock protection.

EPA registration regulations

As this is an international website we have to make different claims in the US due to the EPA registration regulations. This claim is that we are effective against odor causing bacteria (and as all bacteria create an odor – well you can draw your own conclusions).

We have also developed a dual product which disinfects on contact and delivers residual protection on an ongoing basis. Please not this product is currently undergoing EPA registration in the US and until then cannot make any claims. However for other countries please see the data sheets as to its effectiveness.
